Should local authorities be informing us what point on the pay scale we are on?

Replying to my own post since my understanding of things has been updated: it is great that you are now being paid at the appropriate salary point. However, a short-term teacher (2 days or fewer) will continue to be paid for fewer hours than a teacher working three days or more (short-term teacher will get contact time plus 10% whereas a long-term teacher will get contact time plus 50%)

About time!

Since it is my experience that not all business managers in schools know about this (therefore will pay you the lower amount) if you were doing supply teaching in any school I would take in a hard copy of the SNCT agreement and show it to the business manager if necessary.
